Plan for Wednesday, October 03, 2007

Announcements:

·         We’re behind, syllabus wise, so exact assignments will be given in class

·         Please hand to class instructor now, OL Assignments 2 & 3

·         Format for Final Exam:  Any topic you have written about, or that we have discussed in class, might appear on that exam, which will take place during finals week.  So you need to pay attention while the material is discussed in class!  Most of the questions appear already in your syllabus, but I shall give you the ones that actually might appear on the test two weeks before finals week.

3 tenors: 1990   http://youtube.com/watch?v=6l0HUS7AXK4

Show & Tell: Students?

Class Research Project:  Hand out preliminary sheet.  Discussion and improvements?  Basic strategies of general plan of work.  Dividing into 9 teams.

Online Questions:  In an effort to improve our reading and thinking skills, your second drafts, and your performance in the final test, we need to carefully review these questions.  Best way might be for each person to divide the questions among teams and have the teams talk to us about them?  Or would it be better if I lead a class discussion?

Film (if we have time): Bread and Tulips
