Let me know in advance what you choose. Write a short story of your own. Minimum number of words: 1,000. Respond to one of my essays. Note, you might be particularly interested in a popular essay on the environment, or on TV. The most welcome response will be a critical one--showing why I don't know what I am talking about. Note that this choice requires some outside readings (besides my essay). Another equivalent reading and writing assignment of your choice (please clear your choice with me).
