Here is a fun game which has made a lot of people just as rich as they deserve to be. The game involves two players: Roller (R) and Skater (S). Each game consists of 48 rounds. Each round involves one or two throws of the die. The Roller makes the first toss. This toss determines the winning values for the second toss, as follows:

Following the first toss, either side has the option of doubling the stakes. That is, since the stakes until now were 1 point, either player can raise them to 2 points. In each round, only a single double can be offered by either the Roller or the Skater. The right to double is secured on a first come basis. To double, a player says: "Double." If no double is offered, the stakes remain the same (one point only) and the Roller rolls the second toss.
After a double is offered by one player, the other player has two options:
S/he can decline, in which case he automatically loses one point. After this loss of one point is recorded in the Score Sheet by the Roller, players proceed to the next round.
S/he can accept, in which case the Roller tosses the die again. Here, wins and losses have double the value and they are determined according to the odds above, e.g., if the first roll was a 5 and the second a 3, Skater wins 2 points.
The game can be played for fun or for fun and money. If played for money, the value of each point (e.g., five cents a point) is decided upon in advance for the entire game (48 rounds). Any player quitting the game before the full 48 rounds have been played forfeits his winnings (if s/he is ahead), or pays all losses accumulated up to this point (if he is behind).
Owing to this game's complexity, disputes may arise (especially in places like Las Vegas, where the game is played for high stakes). This game requires therefore meticulous record-keeping by the Roller.
After the Roller fills in the relevant data for one round in the score sheet, the players move on to the next round, which is played exactly as before.
At the end of 24 rounds, the two players must reverse their positions (the Roller is now the Skater and vice versa) and they must play another set of 24 rounds in these new positions.
